About Our Walk In Clinics
MedSpring walk in clinic is there when you need us most. From sore throats and fevers to bumps, bruises, and breaks, we have doctors available every day to treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries to help you get back to better…quickly and comfortably.
Accidents happen. People get sick. Getting a last minute appointment with your primary physician is virtually impossible and a trip to the ER can be costly. At MedSpring, we strive to be a quick and efficient walk in medical clinic, while still providing high quality medical care.
There are currently MedSpring locations in Austin and Houston, TX, and Chicago, IL. With skilled physicians on-site each and every day, we are able to provide the convenient and reliable immediate care that you and your family deserve. All of our facilities have lab and x-ray equipment on-site with physicians available from 9am-9pm daily. Walk in patients are welcome, or call ahead to schedule an appointment and save even more time.
Our Physician Leadership
MedSpring’s clinical team is led by our Chief Medical Officer, Jon L. Belsher, M.D. Board certified in both Critical Care and Internal Medicine, Dr. Belsher received his training at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX and at the Mayo Clinic in both Scottsdale, AZ and Rochester, MN. Dr. Belsher was formerly a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard where he was the chief of Aerospace Medicine at the Air National Guard’s largest medical unit.
The Chairman of our Board is Craig Frances, M.D. Dr. Frances graduated with honors from Cornell University and was Valedictorian at Cornell University Medical College, where he also received the Paul Sherlock Prize, a peer-voted award for exceptional integrity and compassion in patient care. He is the creator of the Saint-Frances Series, medical books that are used extensively in academic centers across the United States. Dr. Frances has numerous publications in leading journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, and has collaborated with many national healthcare leaders.
Our other Physicians and medical professionals bring a variety of clinical experience to their work at MedSpring. All are selected for their clinical skills and experience, as well as for their interest and effectiveness in serving patients.
