MedSpring Immediate Care, known as urgent care in other markets, is bringing quality immediate health care to the Chicagoland area. MedSpring operates urgent care centers in Austin and Houston, Texas and now has three Chicago walk in clinics. MedSpring provides reliable, immediate care on your schedule. Our doctors are on-site to provide immediate medical care from 9 am to 9 pm, every day including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Our immediate care physicians provide treatment for a wide range of illnesses, including infections, flu, strep throat, allergies, and stomach pain. In addition we treat injuries that require urgent attention such as burns, strains, sprains, broken bones, and cuts requiring stitches. Other services include vaccinations, drug screens and sports physicals. Each of our Chicago clinics are equipped with digital x-ray and lab equipment on-site.
You’ll find that MedSpring isn’t a typical Chicago walk-in clinic. Our centers are attractive, comfortable and conveniently located. In addition to free beverages and snacks, we offer in-room television, and free WiFi. Most importantly, our team strives to provide not only great medical care, but outstanding service as well. In fact, most MedSpring immediate care visits last under an hour, compared to more than four hours for a typical emergency room visit. MedSpring accepts most major insurance plans and Medicare. For those with insurance, immediate care/specialist co-pays or co-insurance is usually less than half of a Chicago ER visit. And for those managing high-deductible health insurance plans, avoiding a trip to the emergency room can easily save a thousand dollars or more. For those without insurance, MedSpring offers affordable self-pay rates that are typically a fraction of high Chicago emergency room charges.
