Care When You Need It
After your Welcome Visit, you may schedule appointments with your Prime physician, as necessary, for preventative and chronic care needs. For urgent or after-hours medical needs, simply walk-in or schedule a visit with an urgent care physician at any MedSpring center. With our integrated electronic medical records, all our physicians have access to your up-to-date medical information. For urgent care visits, your urgent care co-pay applies.
Online and After-Hours Access
Prime patients can exchange electronic messages with their MedSpring Prime doctor, request refills, schedule appointments and access their medical records at their convenience, 24 hours a day, via MedSpring’s secure patient portal. Prime patients also have access to an overnight nurse helpline.
Low or No Co-Pays
Under many insurance plans, some preventative care services, such as annual Wellness Exams for women and seniors, are available from your primary care physician with no co-pay. All appointments scheduled with your primary care physician will have a primary care co-pay, while all visits with an urgent care physician will have an urgent care co-pay. Even after-hours and weekend visits are usually far less expensive than the cost of emergency room visits. Deductibles may apply. Please contact your insurance company to verify your plan benefits.
Become a Prime Patient
Anyone age 7 or older, who is up-to-date on their childhood immunizations, is eligible to become a MedSpring Prime patient. Membership starts with the completion of your Welcome Visit, and an annual physical maintains your membership. We accept most commercial insurance plans, Medicare and self-pay patients.
Your Welcome Visit
During your Welcome Visit, your Prime physician will review your health history, conduct a full exam and develop a plan for your ongoing treatment.
We will continue to offer urgent care services to all patients on a walk-in or appointment basis, including those with a non-MedSpring primary care provider.
