Walk-in medical care is available any time, or feel free to call ahead to make an appointment (yes, you can make a same day appointment or for a future day). We have 5 urgent care centers across the Houston-area, convenient for west Houstonians, those living Midtown/Downtown, and those further out in Katy, Kingwood or Sugar Land.
What we treat
Our urgent care physicians provide treatment for a wide range of illnesses, including infections, flu, strep throat, allergies, and stomach pain. In addition we treat injuries such as burns, strains, sprains, broken bones, and cuts requiring stitches. Other services include vaccinations, drug screens and sports physicals. Each of our urgent care clinics is equipped with digital x-ray and lab equipment on-site so we can treat Houstonians with most minor emergencies. We know sometimes these minor emergencies happen after hours, and you need a clinic open late - that's why we're here!
A different kind of walk-in clinic
You’ll find that MedSpring isn’t anything like a typical Houston walk-in clinic or in-store clinic. Our clinics are attractive, comfortable and conveniently located. In addition to free beverages and snacks, we offer in-room television, and free WiFi. Most importantly, our team strives to provide not only great medical care, but outstanding service as well. In fact, most MedSpring urgent care visits last under an hour, compared to more than four hours for a typical emergency room visit. After thousands of patient reviews, our Houston area clinics average 4.9 out of 5 stars.
MedSpring accepts most major insurance plans and Medicare. For those with insurance, urgent care co-pays or co-insurance is usually less than half of a Houston ER visit. And for those managing high-deductible health insurance plans, avoiding a trip to the emergency room can easily save a thousand dollars or more. For those without insurance, MedSpring offers affordable self-pay rates that are typically a fraction of high Houston emergency room charges.
